![]() The story takes place in the South (and I have to say Garcia and Stohl have captured the South perfectly!) so understandably everything moves a little slower. I liked the powers that are revealed and used throughout the series as they logistically make sense and it is easy to understand where, when and how they can and cannot be used.Īnother thing is the pacing of the books. Garcia and Stohl weave a rich and addicting story of magic, family and fate which makes each book impossible to put down. But with this series I never had that problem. They tend to bore me and the subject of “magic” and how it is often used bothers me. I am not a huge fan of witch-paranormal reads. This is one of my favourite series, which surprises even me when you look that the other series in my top 5–but of course there is an excellent reason why the Caster Chronicles is in my Top 3 Favourite Book Series of all time. Movie Review: Catch my thoughts on the movie here! To make us realise, how mothers’ are, how a mother’s heart is and if you feel something for that mom, you need to feel about yours. As you read you can’t help but be surprised to think that it is your mom the writer is talking about. The characters and the situations are strangely relatable. Divided into 4 different sections, we get to discover and uncover the secrets that ‘Mom’ held onto for her whole life, and the kind of person she really was.īut the story feels like it’s your own. It is simply about the disappearance of a mother, and what her children, husband, and other people related to her feel, the regrets they have about their behaviour towards her.
